“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,” – Ephesians 1:15-19
LIGHT FOR NOW: Generational issues from the natural generation do not apply at all to the man’s whose genealogy is in Christ.
From the analysis done so far in 1Peter 1:23 and other body of scriptures, it’s clear that the born again man is not a product of a natural generation. And thus, if he is not a product of a natural generation, to define him from the perspective of his natural generation is a misplaced identity. This man is in Christ, whatever is in Christ is in him; whatever is not in Christ is not in him. Any definition given to the born again man outside of Christ is not valid. You are in Christ, if someone must define you and that definition of you is valid, then it must be Christ. You are in Christ; your identity is in Christ and not in your natural generation. Any issue (maybe generational curses, faulty foundations, ancestral covenants, etc.) in your natural generation does not apply to you; it does not apply to you at all. If someone looks at you and tells you that until you break the generational curses in your father’s house, you cannot be free, look at him and tell him you are not talking to me, why? Because in my father’s house (which is in Christ), there is no such thing as breaking generational curses; in your genealogy you don’t have curses, you have blessings.
What if someone looks at you and then picks Psalm 11:3 which reads, “If the foundation be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?” And then say to you “the foundation of your father’s house is faulty, that is why you cannot rise up; so for you to rise up you have to pay this amount of money to me so I can deal with your foundational issue”; look at that kind of person and say to him “Jesus is my foundation and Jesus is not faulty”; in fact, if he needs scriptures, give him scriptures. Hear Isaiah in prophecy, he says “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste” (Isaiah 28:16). Isaiah heard prophecies about Christ (Zion in prophecy) and he calls him a sure foundation. Your foundation is sure; it’s not faulty. If Christ is your foundation as a born again man, and somebody looks at you and says you need to break foundational curses to break free, do you know what he has just said by implication? He just said you need to break Christ; is that kind of a person okay? How can I break Christ? That kind of person was not talking to you because in Christ where I am, my foundation is sure; curses don’t exist here, only blessings. Don’t let anybody jerry pick a verse of scripture (from the Old Testament) and deceive you with another gospel. Glory!
INSTRUCTION: If you are ignorant of who you are in Christ, you will be a candidate for deception; so don’t settle for ignorance.
PRAYER: Father, I declare that my eyes are opened up to know who I am in you; what I have in you and what I can do through you, in Jesus Name, Amen.
QUOTE: When you settle for ignorance as a believer, you will be a candidate for deception.
