Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, – Ephesians 1:15-19

LIGHT FOR NOW:  You are in Christ and in Him your foundation is sure.

We have established that any definition of the born again man outside Christ is a misplaced identity. Your true identity is in Christ. In Christ, you don’t have any generational curse to break because such don’t exist in this genealogy. Don’t let anyone define you from your natural generation so as to intimidate you; your true definition is in Christ. Born again means you began in Him (in Christ); in Him you are one generation away. Anyone who picks Psalm 11:3 and tells you for you to break free, you have to break certain things in your foundation just misinterpreted that text to suite his desire. Hear Isaiah again in Isaiah 28:16 “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste”. Jesus is my sure foundation. Hear Paul in the epistles, he echoes in 1Corinthians 3:11 which reads, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ”. My foundation is Christ, my foundation is in Christ, and this foundation is not faulty. In fact, hear Isaiah’s prophecy in Isaiah 28:16 in the fulfillment as Apostle Peter picks up this text and expounds, it reads “To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded” (1Peter 2:4-6). Who told you that you have a faulty foundation? From where? There is not scriptures in the epistles that suggests that the born again man has a generational curse or can be affected by a generational curse, ancestral covenant, etc from his father’s house in the natural. You are one generation away; you don’t have any generational curse pursuing you. You don’t have any foundation to break; or do you want to break Christ? This is because he is your foundation. You don’t have any ancestral covenant to break; or do you want to break Christ? He is your ancestor. In fact, in our next studies, we are going to employ proper bible interpretation and unbundle Exodus 20:5 which has been a key text used by many folks to deceive many into believing that a born again man in Christ can still be affected by generational curses from his natural genealogy. Even though we are not going to carry out an expository study on it (that is, verse by verse interpretation or contextual analysis), but we are going to make sure that the key words making up that text (Exodus 20:5) is well analysed grammatically. You cannot be a victim in the hands of deception, because the  truth is,  when you fall into their hands and believe those lies they say, it will work or have effect in you; don’t say you did not know because if you accept that lie from your natural genealogy as the truth even after you’ve come into Christ, that believe in that lie will affect the lie to be your reality. I am in Christ, I don’t have a faulty foundation here; no generational curses here, only blessings. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Place premium on knowledge.

PRAYER: The eyes of my understanding are enlightened, in Jesus Name, Amen.

QUOTE: If you have settled for ignorance, get ready for deception.
