LIGHT FOR NOW: Knowledge cannot be over-emphasized as far as the Christian walk is concerned. Place priority on knowledge.
It is clearly stated that the Christian walk is a knowledge based walk. Hence, the Christian faith is a knowledge based faith. You can’t be effective in your Christian walk more than the knowledge of Christ you have. Where your knowledge of Christ stops is where your effectiveness stops. If Christianity is a knowledge based faith, then it follows the way your relationship with God is, is a reflection of your knowledge of God. Your knowledge of God, how you see him will affect your relationship with him. The mindset you have of God will influence how you relate with him. You can’t relate with God better than the knowledge you have of him in Christ. Christianity is a knowledge based faith. Everything in Christianity boils down to knowledge.
Satan thrives on the ignorance of believers. A believer that is in abject ignorance of all that avails to him in Christ will be molested by the devil. Your ignorance is disadvantageous to you but advantageous to the devil. A man that is in knowledge of all that avails to him in Christ is a terror to the devil. What knowledge is to God is what ignorance is to Satan. Paul’s prayer for the church or believers in the epistle was majorly on knowledge. You can’t excel or progress in this faith beyond the knowledge of Christ you have. Place premium on knowledge. Glory!
