LIGHT FOR NOW: Look up to Jesus because He is the only source of your help.
Except God helps you in life, you will ever remain a struggler. No man enjoys the help of God and ends up as a failure in life. When the help of God surrounds you, everything falls in pleasant places for you. The help of God overturns the wicked wishes of your enemies. The help you receive from Jesus thwarts the places of unreasonable men. In the bible account of 2Chronicles 18:1-34, King Jehoshaphat unwisely accompanied the King of Israel, Ahab to a battle which God had earlier informed him of a total defeat. When the war went sour as earlier foretold, verse 31 says in part “but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him; and God moved them to depart from him”. You cannot fight an endless battle when you have the help of God. No man can help God. It is only God that helps men! And everybody needs help whether you are living in the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden here refers to comfort. The president needs help, the governor needs help. Without the help of God, one cannot enjoy what we call the comfort zone because God is the primary source of our comfort. Till eternity, divinity comes down to help man at any point in time if only man will look to Jesus as the only source of help. Glory!
