WALK IN FAITH

“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.” – Romans 3:25-27

LIGHT FOR NOW: The faith of God works by speaking.

Faith is taught in two places; faith is in the heart and faith is in the mouth. That means faith is taught as a conviction and as an action. Your words will not be faith if you don’t believe in your heart. So, it’s not good enough to believe in your heart if you don’t speak it; neither is it sufficient to say without believing in the heart. Faith is to believe with the heart and say with the mouth. Paul said wait for that time when things in the heart of people will be made manifest. That’s why Proverbs 23:7 says “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he”. You must believe with your heart and you must say with your mouth. Matthew 11:22-23 has this to say “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.

Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”. This verse shows that faith also works as a seed. Faith works like a seed, because faith works with words. So, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you speak. The saying/speaking is the planting because words are seeds; words are spiritual realities. In the walk of faith, there will always be challenges. Faith in the heart works with the law of repetition; if you repeat it often, you believe it. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Words come to pass, so mind what you say. Don’t have a language of defeat; have a victory language.

CONFESSION: I take charge of my words, I take charge of my life. I do not have a language of defeat; I have a victory language, in Jesus Name, Amen.

QUOTE: Words are seeds.
