“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” (Acts 26:18)
LIGHT FOR NOW: The righteousness of God is only revealed in the Gospel of Christ.
1 John 4:17 says, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world”. The believer is able to handle his inheritance, as much as he knows how to use the authority bequeathed to him in Christ. It’s true, God has already given you everything you need to live triumphantly: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue”(2 Peter 1:3). However, without knowledge, it will be impossible to access them; he needs precise and accurate revelation of the word of God. Pastors shouldn’t spend their time teaching about curses instead of showing his flocks their inheritance in Christ. In no way can the man in Christ have generational curses. This is because he now belongs to the family of God. “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God” (Ephesians 2:19). No matter the curses invoked on the believer, they have no effect on him because he belongs to a new family. Our foundation is Christ. “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11). The assignment of the pastor is to constantly remind his members of their impeccable identity in Christ, to the point that they are firmly established in it. Peter in his epistle says, “Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth” (2 Peter 1:12). In Christ, we only have good things in us and not curses (Philemon 1:6). We have access to all that the Father has made available in Christ’s redemptive work, so you don’t require a third party to access your inheritance in Christ. Glory!!!!
INSTRUCTION: Believe and be made righteous
PRAYER: I affirm that because I am found in Christ, I am justified; not by works but by Jesus Christ. Amen.
QUOTE: You do not need a third party to access your inheritance in Christ.
