“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,” – Ephesians 1:15-19
LIGHT FOR NOW: Your identity in Christ is not discovered in a dream, vision or personal revelation; it is discovered in Christ in the written word.
As we proceeded in this series, we established that Satan thrives in the ignorance of a believer. You create a breeding ground for Satan when you are ignorant of what God in Christ has accomplished for you and in you. As we continue to explore into this subject, we will move into the trajectory of answering some important/critical questions carefully from the scriptures which will reveal to us who the believer is, what the believer can do, what is the believer born of or what gave birth to the believer; where the believer is because his realities will be in where he is; does the believer have a power problem? Does he have an authority problem? Does he have a deliverance problem? What could be his greatest need if it is not power, authority or deliverance? Could his greatest need be a car or a house or anything material? All these questions will be answered carefully as we proceed in our study.
It is important to establish as we proceed that the battle ground where the believer’s life is concerned lies in the area of identification. The area of identification is where the believer has the fiercest battle. And Satan will do everything and anything to make sure that the believer fails in this area because he knows that the crisis begins when your identity is not discovered or known. When your identity is not discovered or known, identity crisis steps in. That’s why Satan does not want you to know who you really are; he doesn’t want you to know your make because he knows that if you come into this realization of your identity, you will not wake up by 12AM to fight him and his cohorts who were defeated 2000 years ago; he will not be your prayer point. Your realities cannot be maximized fully if you have not known your realities fully.
INSTRUCTION: Don’t miss it in the area of identification.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, I declare that my eyes are opened to my realities in your Son in the written word, in Jesus Name. Amen.
QUOTE: The absence of identity discovery will be the presence of identity crisis.
