“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places” – Ephesians 1:16-20
LIGHT FOR NOW: Answers to prayers does not fall from the sky, answers to prayers come from within us.
The power in operation in the believer in Christ is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That is the power that raised us from spiritual death to spiritual life; which is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Observe Ephesians 3:20 as rendered by the Amplified Version and The Passion Translation: “Now to Him who, by [in consequence of] the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super abundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]” (AMPC); “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you” (TPT).
So, the power that brings answers to prayers is in you. Thus, prayer power is prayer answer. The answer to your prayer doesn’t fall from the sky, the answer is within. What happens is when you pray, the prayer powers the answer within. What is that unbelievable dream? Where have you applied principles and they have failed, and you now need an intervention of the miraculous? There is power at work in you to put things in their right places; for things to work in your favour. You have that power, just make it available in the place of prayer. Glory!
