THE MIRACULOUS (2)

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” – Luke 1:37

LIGHT FOR NOW: In bible reading, diligence beyond intelligence is the most critical quality.

2Corinthians 4:13 says: “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak”. The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen means you have not seen it, yet you are saying it. You have not seen it, yet you believe you have it. You are calling the things that be not as though they were. It is better to be either for the law or for grace; when you have law and grace mixed together, you will have a terrible experience, because you will believe in the power of God but you will not receive from it (Matthew 14:28). Now, Jesus was already on water; he was already doing the impossible. He was already functioning in the anointing of the spirit. He was already functioning in the grace of God. Now Peter says “if it be you…” Peter was not the only person that Jesus spoke to; at least, they were twelve people in that ship. In other words, he spoke to everybody. When you come to church and God’s word is taught, it’s not automatic that everybody that is being taught will experience it. The word of God only works for those that believe it. And if you believe the God’s word long enough, it will work. Everybody will not like you; everybody may not buy your idea but don’t wait for anybody approval if you want to do the impossible.

In life, never wait on human commendation to act on God’s word; take God at his word. Jesus only said “come”, he expected Peter to act upon it, he never expected Peter to walk on water; he expected Peter to work on his word. So when you are looking at the water, you are looking at the wrong things, you are to look at his word. The word of God contains the power of God; that is, the power you need to stay on the water. You can walk on the supernatural; you can walk on the power of God. Anything is possible within the miraculous. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Never wait on human commendation to act on God’s word.

CONFESSION: I believe in God’s power; God’s power is working on my behalf… Go ahead and pray in the Holy Ghost, in Jesus Name, Amen.

QUOTE: God’s word is potent.
