“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,” – Ephesians 1:15-19
LIGHT FOR NOW: Your birth is not of a mortal origin.
In our previous study, we began a careful investigation into what gave birth into the born again man; what he is born of, because in knowing what he is born of then we can track what he is not born of. Let’s hear the words of Peter again which is very key to our explanation, it reads “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1Peter 1:23). Observe the Amplified rendering of this verse “You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting word of God”. Recall, the implication of the term “corruptible seed” which the Amplified translation made it more clearer by saying “not of mortal origin” is that the birth of the born again man (the new creation) is not natural; that is, is not a product of a natural procreation or a product of a natural generation. In other words, you cannot trace the birth of the born again man to a natural generation or procreation. His birth is not natural but his birth is the exact opposite of the natural which is the supernatural and this is what he explains as “by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever” (1Peter 1:23b).
We will in the course of our studies in subsequent days come back to the generational problem because another gospel has made it look like the new creation has a generational problem; he still has generational curses to break; he still has ancestral covenants to break; he still has a faulty foundation, and so if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? So, he still has a foundational problem that needs to be dwelt with. And the funny truth is that another gospel has scriptures to back up its opinion, but those scriptures has only been made to mean what it doesn’t mean. Generational problem, curses, ancestral covenants, and foundational problems do not apply to the born again man at all. But when you pick up the scriptures with a pre-conceived notion, you can make it say what it is not saying. And that is why in bible interpretation, when the bible is wrongly interpreted, a vital truth is lost. So, we will investigate into the supernatural birth of this man (the born again man) in proceeding studies and then get back to analyze carefully this generational problem in order to free man from the deception of the devil communicated via another gospel. Glory!
INSTRUCTION: You are a candidate for deception if you refuse to be knowledgeable in God’s word; so go for knowledge.
PRAYER: The eyes of my understanding are enlightened, in Jesus Name. Amen.
QUOTE: The born again man is not born of a natural generation, but he is born of God.
