THE REALM OF A NEW MAN IN CHRIST (2)

How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)” Ephesians 3:3-4

LIGHT FOR NOW:A man that has understanding in Christ’s redemptive work has an all-round rest.

Paul was an Apostle of Christ mandated to preach to the Gentiles. Christ revealed the mystery of Himself to Paul, which he referred to as the mystery of Christ. What is this mystery which Jesus revealed to him? In his letter to the church in Ephesus Paul explains the mystery ‘Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ …, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ’(Ephesians 3:5-8).Again, in Colossians 1:26-27 he says “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory

It is therefore clear that the revealed mystery centres on the new creation, in which God is in man reproducing Himself by the Spirit – Christ! This revelation is the whole essence of the gospel and the source of our making. It has the power to establish us.

There is no creation that is as powerful as the mystery of God becoming man and man becoming God. Until the mystery is revealed, it is of no use to you(Mark 4:11). Until you understand your realm in Christ, you would be like a little child that carries some dollar bills in his hand and the next thing is to eat it. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption”. Christ took our place and we are now free. The only thing that pleases God is Christ in you. John 3:6 says “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit”. So, at new birth, our nature was changed. The Adamic nature was done with, and we received the nature of God. As believers in Christ, we are kings and priests – having physical and spiritual authorities concurrently. A man that has understanding in Christ’s redemptive work has an all-round rest. When you understand your realm, you have a good break from trouble (1 Peter 1:23, Galatians 2:19-20).  As a new man in Christ, this is your realm!

INSTRUCTION:Walk in the newness of life in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER:Lord, I enforce my redemption, in Jesus name.
