RECOGNIZING THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord, and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s” –

LIGHT FOR NOW: With Jesus as the Lord over our lives, we do not walk under closed heaven.

Jesus is the custodian of our daily victory as believers in Christ. With His Lordship over our lives, we are not walking under closed heaven. The heaven of a believer in Christ is continually open as the answers to our prayers are even closer to us more than we think. The Bible says in Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”. This means that even our thoughts are answered by God. To ask is to decree and to decree is to exercise authority. As the Lord over our lives, we as believers have the power and authority to lord over all circumstances and situations of life. We should not be lacking in any aspect of our lives. When you recognize Him as your Lord, it will be shown in the way you give. Anything you cannot let go has taken the place of His Lordship. We are a product of giving and giving is our realm. Once a believer goes out of his realm, he will suffer loss and identity crisis. We have been delivered out of darkness and translated into the kingdom of light. The depth of your relationship with God determines how rich you are towards God. Even Jesus was rich in His relationship with the Father.

Christ became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God through Him. The sacrifice of Jesus is the only answer to sin consciousness; it is the reason for our right standing with God, and it is the gift of God to us (Ephesians 2:8-9). Righteousness is by faith (believing) and it is a gift. Jesus is our Advocate – speaking to God on our behalf. He is our helper who stands and speaks for us. His birth was a manifest of what was spoken (Matthew 1:21-23). Sin can never stand between God and a believer in Christ. Hallelujah!

INSTRUCTION: Always meditate on what Christ has done for you.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for the salvation of my soul, in Jesus Name!

QUOTE: The greatest love is divinity taking up humanity through virginity to save man from sin
