“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” – Romans 1:17
LIGHT FOR NOW: It is the knowledge of Christ that you have that opens your eyes to who you are in Christ.
To exercise your faith, you must acknowledge who you are in Christ. You must acknowledge that God is your Father and He has made you His son. “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father” (Romans 1:12; Galatians 4:6). In acknowledging that you are a son of God in Christ, the love of God your Father, and his willingness for you to have everything you need should preoccupy your mind. This is one critical area you must not play with. God’s will for you is that you should prosper all round and be in health even as your soul prospers (3John 1:2). As a believer in Christ, never think that God is against you or angry with you so much that He is waiting for you to have problems so that He can laugh at you. You must know that God’s consistent character and nature is love. Even when you were still in sin and of no use whatsoever to him, He still loved you and want you out of it (Romans 5:8).
You must be persuaded that nothing can separate you from the love of God. Quote Romans 8: 35-39). God is always thinking good about you. He says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. So you must let it settle it in your spirit man that God is your loving Father, who would do everything possible to ensure that you have your portion in his kingdom. It is His good pleasure that you have a share in His kingdom. Hallelujah!!!
INSTRUCTION: Acknowledge who you are in Christ.
PRAYER: Lord, I stir up my faith in you. My expectations shall not be cut off, in Jesus Name. Amen.
QUOTE: What you don’t know, you cannot manifest.
