NOT UNDER THE LAW (5)

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore, by the deeds of the law, there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”– Romans 3:19-24

LIGHT FOR NOW: We are not under the law that ministers condemnation but in that spirit that ministers righteousness.

The law was a shadow. It couldn’t change the consciousness of the people who practiced it; the symbolic worship further darkened their understanding and paced them farther from the truth and light. Hebrews 10:1 “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect”. 2Corinthians 3:12-14 “Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ”.
In Christ, the veil is removed; this will mean in Christ is the clarification and understanding of the law. We understand clearly when we read the law from the mindset of Christ. What Moses hid is now revealed in Christ. We now see the glory of the Lord by his spirit. 2Corinthians 3:4, 6-7 “And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward Verse 6-7 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away”. The letter that kills and minister death is the law, while the spirit is Christ and gives life. We have life and therefore minister of the same life to men. We are not under the law that ministers condemnation and death, but in the spirit that ministers life and righteousness. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: You are not condemned. You are righteous; acknowledge this!

CONFESSION: I am a minister of righteousness and life; I am not under the law, and I do not have its ministry of condemnation and death. I naturally yield myself to the ministry of the spirit in Christ, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

QUOTE: The believer’s consciousness should be his status of righteousness, and this will drive away unconsciousness.
