“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith”. – Romans 1:16-17
LIGHT FOR NOW: Based on what Jesus did, which made you righteous by faith, you have an audience with God all the days of your life.
A righteous man is one who has unrestrained and unfettered access to God. This is seen in the place of prayer where he has an audience with God any time he stands to pray. 1 Peter 3:12 “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil”. Apostle James also harped on this fact. James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”. In the place of prayer, the believer makes power available. Furthermore, based on this right standing with God, he can drive out demons, lay hands on the sick, and recover and undo every work of Satan. Mark 16:15-18 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”.
Who you are determines your operation. When righteousness consciousness dawns on you, the inferiority complex will be out of the way; you will be clothed with confidence and boldness to approach God and puts the devil where he belongs But when you give sin consciousness a kingly seat in your life, an inferiority complex will be the order of the day, as you will find it difficult to approach. God, because of the feeling of guilt, condemnation, or inferiority complex. You will see yourself as being disqualified to stand before God, and this itself will rob you of boldness and confidence. Step out of sin consciousness and move into righteous consciousness and watch yourself maximize all that Jesus paid for. Glory!
