“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”– Mark 11:23
LIGHT FOR NOW: Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
What works with faith is the general law of words – You shall have whatsoever that you say. Faith and unbelief work by speaking. Matthew 15:17-18 “Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man”. Mark 7:18-23 “And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man”. The physical food a man eats goes into his alimentary canal; the nutrients are digested and absorbed , and the rest is passed as fecal matter. However, the fruit a man would eat that would affect his spiritual life is his words.
The word “belly” in Matthew 15:17, Mark 7:19, was translated from a word that is used for a womb; what is within you. Proverbs 18:20-21 “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; And with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. The word “belly” was translated from a word that refers to a womb. “…and with the increase of his lips shall be filled…” The word “increase” here refers to a crop yield, produce, and gain. Tongues here refer to words. It is evident that death and life happened to a man through words. Mind what you speak. Glory!
INSTRUCTION: Don’t speak carelessly.
DECLARATION: I value my words, and I release the right words always, in Jesus’ Name, Amen
QUOTE: A man’s word can add to his life or subtract from his life.
