“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”– Mark 11:23
LIGHT FOR NOW: The law of faith works with the general law of words.
The believer’s authority is neither a lapel nor an ornament. It is to be used. He must learn to express his authority in words. Mark 11:14 “And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it”. Jesus spoke loud and clear to the fig tree such that his disciples heard him, so his audience heard what he said. He expressed his authority in words. Words spoken unambiguously, words not loud and clear do carry authority. There is nothing called silent faith. If it is faith, it has to be loud. Faith works because you said it. Authority is expressed with words. Authority does not work because you think about it or believe; it’s rather because you said it. What you say has not been used. It is like an unpreached gospel; it saves no one. The gospel is only effective when it is preached – Romans 10:8-17. Unspoken faith is unused authority, and any authority not used is not functional, even though it belongs to you. The Centurion in Matthew 8 knew the value of authority expressed via words.
Matthew 8:9-10 “For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marveled and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel”. He knew the value of words. He knew you could not use authority without words. He knew Jesus’ presence without his words meant nothing; he knew words have no distance or barrier. “…I say to one go and he goes, I say to another come and he comes…” This is what Jesus likened as faith, his words… So what works with faith is the general law of words, you shall have whatsoever that you say. Glory!

CONFESSION: I put my faith to work, and I have whatsoever that I say, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
QUOTE: Words are faith carriers or fear carriers.
