THE LAW OF FAITH (4)

“And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve. And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.” – Mark 11:11-14

LIGHT FOR NOW: They are realities that accrues to the believer upon faith in Christ at salvation; the believer must acknowledge this.

In verses 23 of Mark 11, Jesus further states: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23). Jesus’ statement “…to have/possess the faith of God”; speaking of a once-and-for-all possession. Recall that what God gave is Jesus Christ. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. Romans 5:10 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life”.

Coming with/in Christ are things freely given to us. Romans 8:32 “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” 1Peter 1:4 “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you”.
We are complete in him, needing nothing; lacking nothing. Colossians 2:10 “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power”. We have been blessed with all spiritual blessing in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”. Furthermore, the gift of a man would bear his character. James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”. Every good gift comes from God. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Acknowledge what faith in Christ has done for you.

DECLARATION: By my faith in Christ at salvation, I have been blessed with all spiritual blessings; I am complete in Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.

QUOTE: When a man believes at salvation, he is filled with the fullness of God.
