GOD’S EVERLASTING LOVE (3)

“What shall we say these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea, rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We are accounted as sheep for slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”– Romans 8:31-39

LIGHT FOR NOW: The born again man is God’s love project and object.

Let’s observe Jesus’ word in John 10:26, 29 “But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand”. The believer is in the mighty hand of God. The Apostles preached the same in Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were opposed of the devil; for God was with him”. Our key text above lets us see that the scriptures are assertive about an irrevocable commitment that the Father has towards us. This commitment is irrespective of our good or bad conduct. God is committed to loving us irrespective and in spite of us.

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”. Romans 5:8 shows that God by himself offered to die for man even when man never acknowledged him, how much more now that we have received him? His forgiveness was already made available even before we were born. It never was a reaction to our request but his desire for all mankind which we received by our faith in the gospel of his son. Hebrews 10:14 “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified”. Glory!

INSTRUCTION:You are valued by God.

DECLARATION:I have redemption in Christ – it is complete and total redemption, in Jesus Name, Amen

QUOTE: Man is valued by God and is of value to God.
