“By this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His [Holy] Spirit. And [besides] we ourselves have seen (have deliberately and steadfastly contemplated) and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son [as the] Savior of the world.Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God.And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world” –1John 4:13-17(AMPC)
LIGHT FOR NOW:The man in Christ has God’s righteousness; He is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
The Passion Translation of the bible renders Colossians 2:8-10 this way: “Beware that no one distracts you or intimidates you in their attempt to lead you away from Christ’s fullness by pretending to be full of wisdom when they’re filled with endless arguments of human logic. For they operate with humanistic and clouded judgments based on the mindset of this world system, and not the anointed truths of the Anointed one. For he is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. And our own completeness is now found in him. We are completely filled with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe”. I am complete in Christ. The same way the maximum load of God dwells in Christ, the maximum load of Christ dwells in me.
Philippians 3:8-10 “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made comformable unto his death”. I am found in Christ. I have the righteousness of God in Christ. Glory!
INSTRUCTION:You have God’s righteousness in Christ; acknowledge this.
CONFESSION: In Christ, I don’t have my own righteousness. In Christ, I have the righteousness of God which is by faith in Christ. In Christ, I am not found with my works. In Christ, I am the righteousness of God in Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen
QUOTE: The believer’s righteousness is Christ’s righteousness; hence, it is on the basis of Christ and not on the basis of the believer’s works.
