“By this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His [Holy] Spirit. And [besides] we ourselves have seen (have deliberately and steadfastly contemplated) and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son [as the] Savior of the world. Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God. And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world” – 1John 4:13-17 (AMPC)
LIGHT FOR NOW: The word of God is a living, talking, walking, and moving being. It is the person of Jesus Christ.
It was previously established that the word of God is a reality. “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by HIM; and without HIM, it was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the light was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:1-5). Now, observe verses 10 and 11 “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own receive him not” (John 1:10-11). “His own” in the above text refers to Israel. Let’s pay close attention to John 1:14 “And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”.
The word actually came to this world. He became a human being. The word of God is a reality. The word of God is not words. The word of God is a person. He has a name; he is a living person. Jesus is God’s living word. So, the word of God of John 1:1 is not the bible, for if it is the bible, then re-read it by inserting the word Bible where you have the word “word” and you will see that it will not make sense; “In the beginning was the bible, and the bible was with God and the bible was God”. Verse 14 will also read: “And the bible was made flesh and the bible dwelt amongst us…” So, the bible is not the word of God; the bible only reveals the word of God who is Jesus. Glory!
INSTRUCTION: Be knowledge driven.
DECLARATION: I know the word, and I walk in the reality of the word, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
QUOTE: You will be ignorant stricken if you are not knowledge driven.
