LIGHT FOR NOW: Salvation was God’s original plan
Salvation is not an afterthought; it was Gods plan from the beginning. He intended man to become his son, This salvation and intending union with man preceded man’s fall. God is a sovereign being. He is independent of time; He can not be bound by time because he created it. This is why the scriptures In Genesis 1:1 says “In the beginning God created the heaven and earth”; Man was in God’s plan from the beginning. This means God had control and intended his salvation and union with man from the beginning. Colossians 1:17 says “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist”. John 1:1 says ‘ In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
This scriptures go on to emphasize God operates out of time because he created it and since he is before time, he doesn’t take actions in time, he takes it before time and that action will reflect in time. God foreknows before anything takes place, which means his time, pre- existence, and fore knowledge all attribute to his ability as a sovereign being. Glory
