THE LAW OF FAITH (25)

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. – Romans 10:8-10

LIGHT FOR NOW: The world is a result of spoken words.

Previously on this subject, we have come to the understanding that words limit and words also give possibilities. We went as far as establishing that faith works in words and the heart. Heaven and earth and everything in it were created by words. So there is no situation that can not be rearranged to your favor if you speak positively. Jesus, on his way to Bethany, spoke words to the fig tree, and it came to pass without delay.

Mark 11:14 “And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.” Jesus, when making the above statement, knew the power in words, but maybe the disciples didn’t. upon their return in verse 20, Peter called Jesus’ attention to the tree he cursed the previous day that it had dried up.

Jesus, in response, took their attention away from the tree and told them to have faith in Christ; “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:22-23). Mountain here was not referring to literal mountain but life challenged.

What Jesus used this saying to teach the disciples was the fact that every situation of life facing them can only limit them if they either don’t speak up or speak with doubt/fear. But if you speak with a strong belief, you shall have it. However, we have been taught that ignorance is the greatest mountain in a man’s life, and your knowledge of how to go about it helps you. If you had not known that every word you speak comes to pass, whether positive or negative, knowing this will help you in your everyday life. Be constant in speaking positive words because it brings constant positive results. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Don’t stop speaking!

CONFESSION: I declare that every mountain in my life listens to my voice, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

QUOTE: Ignorance is a mountain
