THE LAW OF FAITH (22)

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. – Romans 10:8-10

LIGHT FOR NOW: Words bring results, positive or negative depending on the nature of words.

Words are seeds; they are alive and very productive. The seed which at all times should be heard from a believer is the word of God. Just like a seed, the Holy Bible is full of unseen life and power. The Bible says in John 6:68B “…The word that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life”. The words we read on the pages of our bible everyday may appear lifeless or powerless; this is the nature of seed until they are planted and nurtured. So, whatever comes out of your mouth is a seed and sooner or later it will bear fruits, be it positive or negative. Luke 8:11.

Every seed has to be planted. So, when you Say something, you’ve planted a seed and before you can even realize it, it has grown. As tiny as seeds are, they are very powerful. As a seed begins to grow, it pushes out any obstacle on it way. This is the same thing that happens when the word of God is planted in the hearts of man and confessed with his mouth. Also seeds (words) reproduce their kind. Galatians 6:7 says “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man sows that he will reap”. Whatsoever a man plants, that is what he will harvest; you cannot plant cassava and harvest corn, it is impossible.

So, this is equivalent to the words we utter every day. If the words you say are, “I’m dead, I’m tired of this life, nothing is going well, things are difficult etc”, be rest assured that the result will not be far from the words you uttered. On the other hand, if you speak well about your day, yourself and your situation, you see positive result of the words spoken. Worthy of note is that, when words are spoken forces are enabled, so what you say is what determines the result you see. Say what God says about you and not what they world say. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Don’t speak words in unbelief, speak words in faith.

CONFESSION: I declare that God’s word is the final authority in my life, in Jesus name. Amen

QUOTE: Your words come to pass, so mind what you say.
