THE LAW OF FAITH (19)

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. – Romans 10:8-10

LIGHT FOR NOW: Speak faith-filled words!

The second place where faith functions is in words. Words we utter in our offices, business places and in other day-to-day conversations. Faith doesn’t just by reading or hearing the word of God, but also by speaking it. When you speak the word, you hear it with your inner ear. It isn’t enough to hear your pastor or your Prophet Say “By his stripes you are healed”. It’s good though but what are you hearing yourself say? If you on the other hand don’t confess this then faith isn’t coming from that position of God’s word to you.

John 15:7 says “If ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you”. A lot of self-acclaimed believers go to church all their lives, carry huge Bible and even teach Sunday School Classes; they hear what is being preached by their pastors also but the word of God does not abide in them. Believers are clothed with armor but the only offensive weapon made available unto him by God is the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Don’t utter words from the place of fear.

CONFESSION: My word of faith comes to pass, in Jesus Name, Amen

QUOTE: Speak faith-filled words and not fear-filled words.
