THE LAW OF FAITH (14)

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. – Romans 10:8-10

LIGHT FOR NOW: Faith works with words.

Faith can only be generated in a man’s heart or mind when that man simplifies himself to be taught the word of God. Some believers try to operate the law of faith in their heads, and they forget that faith is resident in the hearts of a man. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness. You can’t believe in your head what you’ve not, first of all, believe in your heart. For even under the new covenant, we still observe the spirit of the law but not the latter. This can be seen in 2Corinthians 8:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament, not of the latter but of the spirit; for the latter killeth but the spirit giveth life”.

Our redemption is not as a result of the things we’ve done. Rather, it is through faith in Christ Jesus that we are redeemed. Hence, we enjoy and live in the reality of all that Jesus had paid for when he was hung on the cross. All the benefits that believers enjoy are as a result of the finished work of Christ, and he gave them all freely and by faith we receive. Some people might care to ask, what are the benefits believers enjoy when they receive Christ? Justification, purification, healing, sanctification, righteousness, etc. Psalm 109:20 say “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”. Worthy of note is the past tense “healed”. That passage did not say “He sent his word to heal them”; rather, it talks about “healed” in the past tense. This means that the healing was already made available, “the word” was the only thing needed to activate the process. Hence, the law of faith functions or operates when words are spoken; so speak up! Glory!

INSTRUCTION: In faith, you don’t stop speaking; keep speaking!

CONFESSION: I declare that my life is a radiation of the glory and the splendor of God, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

QUOTE: Repetition in faith is not unbelief; it is actually faith because faith equally works with the repetition law.
