“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. – Romans 10:8-10
LIGHT FOR NOW: Keep saying it, don’t stop saying it.
The Bible says in Colossians 2:13-15 “When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarm the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross”.
Believers in Christ have authority, and this authority only functions in the spoken word of God. Believers should not accept things the way they are; the trajectory of our lives and the community at large can be changed for the better through the words we utter.
It is important to note that believers in Christ are not passive observers but joint or co-heirs with Christ. We are the ambassadors of Christ. Therefore, we enforce his will on the earth, and this is only made possible by speaking the word. Joshua 1:8 says “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night”. There can be no meditation without speaking, so meditation is formed from speaking. Glory!
INSTRUCTION: Faith works with speaking; keep speaking!
CONFESSION: I live the victorious life; I live the glorious life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
QUOTE: Words spoken is faith in expression.
