“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. – Romans 10:8-10
LIGHT FOR NOW: Faith is now!
The law of faith is God’s word in your heart and in your mouth; the incorruptible word of God. Faith is not tomorrow and not yesterday, but faith is now. Today, I will put God’s word in my heart; today, I will put God’s word in my mouth. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. So, believers have the substance “God’s word” in their mouth, this becomes the evidence that whatever you say is going to come to pass. We have the proof of that to share in 2 Corinthians 6:1 “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain”. Don’t take God’s amazing grace in vain. The amazing grace of God has sent us a saint (Jesus Christ).
So those words of faith should be in our hearts because now is the accepted time under the new covenant. We have accepted by God because we believe the testimony of the cross. 2 Corinthians 4:13 says “we believe, therefore we speak”. So if you believe God’s word, speak it today (Mark 11:22-23). In conclusion, faith is using the word of God to address situations and circumstances that are working against you. Every believer has the authority to arrange and rearrange things in his favor. So, as a believer, take up that responsibility and address that problem now! Glory!
INSTRUCTION: Keep speaking faith-filled words.
CONFESSION: I declare that I don’t fail in faith; I exercise my faith continually, and situations bow to me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
QUOTE: Faith is not postponed; faith is now!
