“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. – Romans 10:8-10
LIGHT FOR NOW: You can’t be silent in faith, you have to speak.
The word “evidence” is a legal term that denotes words like “proof or title-deed”. Faith is not a weird practice. Faith business is God’s business of doing things. Some Christians ask questions like, “How can faith be my evidence when I can’t see any change taking place?” Actually, faith can be seen. When we open the Bible and study God’s words, we have our eyes on faith. Believers should take God at his word. The proof that our prayers are answered is found in the pages of the bible.
When the circumstances surrounding you seem to go to contrary to God’s word, what do you do? Who do you believe? God’s word or the circumstances before you?
Faith is simply agreeing with God’s word, which is more real and valid than what we say, hear, feel, or see. Until believers get the promises of God into their heart, which is where faith works, the circumstances of life will probably be more real to us than God’s words. Hence, there is a need to rely on and trust in God’s words because his words are true. Glory!
INSTRUCTION: Engage your words because faith works in words.
CONFESSION: I live in the reality of God’s word for my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen
QUOTE: Faith works with the general law of words, “You shall have what you say”.
