“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places” – Ephesians 1:16-20
LIGHT FOR NOW: The born again man is the house of God’s resurrection power.
Having investigated into verse 16 of Ephesians chapter 1 where Paul uses five powerful adjectives to describe God’s power, it can thus be deduced that, inside the believer, there is:
- Power that goes beyond target.
- Power that changes and rearranges things. This power works like a stick of dynamite.
- Power that is great in operation.
- Power that has efficiency and fervency; power that is active, effective and operative.
- Power that is mighty in operation.
- Power that has strength, might, whose force no other force can contend with.
How can you carry all these on your inside and Satan is still molesting you? How can you carry all these on your inside and you are still running to prayer houses? It doesn’t make sense. Why is it that when things are not going right, all you do is to cry, lament and complain, rather than putting God’s power in you to work. Rather than accept defeat, quit or surrender or stay depressed, put God’s power to work. Awake to prayers! Live in the power of God. “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you” – Ephesians 3:20 (TPT). You are the power house of God. Right inside you is God’s resurrection power; the power that effected the resurrection of Jesus is in you and all you are doing in that situation is to lament and cry, no! It’s time to pray! Glory!
INSTRUCTION: Pray!
CONFESSION: I declare in the place of prayer that things are working together for my favour, in Jesus Name. Amen.
QUOTE: The believer is the house of God’s resurrection power.
