THE EFFICACY OF PRAYER (11)

“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places” – Ephesians 1:16-20

LIGHT FOR NOW: The power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that gave birth to the believer and now lives in the believer.

Everything that is in Christ is in the believer today. The power that is in operation in the life of the believer or on the inside of the believer is the same power that was in effect when Jesus was raised from the dead.

In essence, the power that was at work in the resurrection of Jesus is the power at work in the believer. The believer thus carries within himself RESURRECTION POWER. This resurrection power itself is the power that raised us from spiritual death and brought eternal life into our hearts.

The Amplified rendition of Ephesians 3:20 speaks volume, it reads “Now to Him who, by [in consequence of] the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super abundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]”(AMPC).
So, the power that brings answers to your prayers is in you. Thus, prayer power is a prayer answered. The answer to your prayer doesn’t fall from the sky; the answer is within you because the power that generates answers to your prayers is within you.

That is why you carry the maximum load of God. That is, you carry the fullness of God. Also, the totality of God’s power dwells in you inside. When you open up your mouth in prayers, it is not empty; it is not without power because the person praying is the power house of God, and he carries the maximum load of God. The believer, therefore, is not in need of power because he is not deficient in power; he is the power house of God. Remember, prayer power is a prayer answered. Glory!

INSTRUCTION:You carry resurrection power on your inside; put it to work!

CONFESSION: I put God’s power in me to work, and I rearrange things for my good, in Jesus’s Name. Amen.

QUOTE: The believer is the house of God’s resurrection power.
