THE EFFICACY OF PRAYER (6)

“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places” – Ephesians 1:16-20

LIGHT FOR NOW: Unanswered prayer is a myth, come out of that myth as a believer and live in an atmosphere of answered prayers.

We saw in our previous studies that all of the Godhead dwells in Christ (Colossians 1:19; Colossians 2:9-10). And Christ in whom the fullness of the Godhead dwells in the believer, so the believer is the one that carries he that carries the fullness of God. When you understand this, you don’t lament in prayers or cry in prayers as a way to move God to answer your prayers; when you understand this, you will pray answers. When you understand this, you will not be waiting for answers to your prayers to fall from the sky or from a planet beyond the sky. If all of God dwells in Christ and Christ dwells in you, you shouldn’t be looking up into the sky for your answers to come down, you will rather know that the answers are within you by virtue of housing he that houses the maximum load of God.

The answers to our prayers doesn’t come from the sky, it comes from us because the maximum load lives in us. There is no such thing as “unanswered prayers” because all prayers are answered in Christ. Why then do people pray and don’t see results? This is perhaps where the problem of the church lies. When they do not see results that they expect, they assume that God is either saying “wait” or “no”. When you pray wrongly because of lack of understanding of your reality or lack of proper instruction in righteousness, you will see the kind of result that prayer commands; if it is a bad result, then it is certain that result is not coming from Christ, but coming as a result of the context of your prayer. Glory!

INSTRUCTION: Clear the notion of unanswered prayers off your mind and live in a realm of answers to prayers.

CONFESSION: I acknowledge that in Christ, I have answers to my prayers always, in Jesus Name.  Amen.

QUOTE: Prayer and the study of God’s word are like breathing in and breathing out, one is not less important of the other. Answers to the believers’ prayer don’t fall from the sky, they come from within.
