“For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” – 1Peter 1:18-19
LIGHT FOR NOW: Your reigning in life is determined by what you were redeemed with.
To be redeemed means to obtain freedom from the price paid. Freedom comes by a sacrifice. Redemption also means you have gained back that which was yours, through the sacrifice(s) of another person. Through redemption, your lost ground was restored by Christ. By redemption, your rights and privileges were restored. Redemption is the reason for your existence as a Christian (Psalm 110:1-2; Hebrews 12:2). What does it mean to reign? To reign means that you know and exercise your rights as a regenerated believer. It means living with the consciousness of what was done on the cross of Calvary. It means taking your place in life and destiny. A believer, who reigns, commands all that Jesus paid for (Romans 3:22-24; Romans 6:23).
Manifestations of poverty, sickness, frustration, etc in your life are a proof that you have not known your rights as a child of God. You do not need to languish in these calamities any longer as Christ has redeemed you. Stand up for your right among the sanctified. As your Amen comes alive, from today, the redemptive power of the resurrected Jesus will manifest in your life, in Jesus Name, Amen. Glory!
INSTRUCTION: Claim your right among the sanctified.
CONFESSION: Lord, I assume my reigning position now, in Jesus Name, Amen.
QUOTE: Without redemption, there is no reigning for any reason.
