‘’And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever”
LIGHT FOR NOW: You are not representing the Kingdom well if you are not letting people around you encounter the Grace of God in you.
It’s unfortunate to see that, most believers frustrate the grace of God in their lives. They are only concerned about themselves- if it pleases them, they are satisfied. But that isn’t how our Father wants us to live as believers. Living this way wouldn’t allow the power of God to truly find expression in and through us. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ speaking said, “Therefore doth my Father love me because I lay down my life that I might take it again” (John 10:17). Meaning, He (Jesus) gave Himself to be killed in order to become more. The writer of Hebrews said, “… For it became him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory…” (Hebrews 2: 10). John also affirmed this when he said, “verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” (John 12: 24). Just like Jesus died in order to become more, we must deliberately allow the grace of God in us work to its fullness, maximum capacity and final fruition. We must allow the grace of God to produce all that it could in our lives and that of others. Do not let it look as though Christ died in vain, rather be determined to be all that His death, burial and resurrection consummated for you.
Beloved, divine life runs in the fibre of your being, hence you must readily take advantage of it to reach out to your world. Know that people in your world look up to you and heaven is assured that you will not disappoint or be untoward about that which has been committed to you because of the divine deposits in you.
In Obadiah 1:21, the Bible calls you a saviour; God’s power has been supplied for you to reach your world. You’re the vent of God’s glory and power; you’re His outstretched hand of blessing to the world and you cannot live otherwise. You must be found always enforcing Jesus’ victory by making it available for whom it was obtained. You are not representing the Kingdom well if you are not letting people around you to encounter the grace of God in you. You have been entrusted with a ministry and you must fulfill it; Christianity is what you do always and everyday, hence the Father will not accept your excuses, no matter how genuine it may sound. You must go beyond yourself in pushing the gospel to the unreached; we all must become more passionate, strategic, painstaking and unrelenting in the ministry that has been given to us. The kingdom and what it stands for must be your life’s purpose.
INSTRUCTION: Be unrelenting in fulfilling your ministry.
PRAYER: I affirm that, I am grateful for being part of the ministry of Christ. I intentionally reach out to men with the message of Christ – Glory!
QUOTE: You are the vent of God’s Glory and power.
